Getting a Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) can be a devastating experience. Most STDs can be treated with medication, but some STDs last a lifetime. .
The Health Department offers diagnosis and treatment to any person, regardless of age or income. We desire to reduce the incidence of Sexually Transmitted Disease by early detection and treatment.
Signs and Symptoms
- Burning with urination
- Abnormal or smelly discharge
- Sores and/or small, hard, painless bumps on the penis or vagina
- Odor from the genital area
Some STDs, particularly in women, have no symptoms but can still cause long-term health problems and can be spread to another partner.
